You know how there's always so much to look at but most of the time it seems like we never actually see life for what it truly offers? Through drawing and painting I create opportunities for people to observe life at a slower pace because I believe viewing and collecting art creates opportunities to appreciate this world, ask meaningful questions, and recognize life as infinitely valuable.

MEET CRAIG HAWKINS

Craig Hawkins (b. 1978)
Hawkins earned an MFA in Drawing and Painting from the Lamar Dodd School of Art. He works as a professional studio artist and teaches at Valdosta State University. Exploring ideas about what we all believe and whether or not it is true, Hawkins’ faith gives momentum to the creation of works exhibited nationally, and internationally.
